I’m currently Associate Professor of English at the University of Delaware, where I also serve as Associate Director for UD’s Center for Material Culture Studies.
My scholarly work appears in PMLA, Contemporary Literature, Post45, Modern Fiction Studies, The Journal of American Studies, and Literature Compass. I also write for public venues such as LARB and Public Books.
I teach 20th and 21st century American literature, material culture studies, critical theory (especially psychoanalysis), media studies, and critical race studies.
